SIDAS SPAIN - environemental awareness team building

Last 25 April, SIDAS SPAIN organised a teambuilding activity for all its staff. The objectives were multiple: improve team cohesion, raise environmental awareness, make a positive contribution to the environment and demonstrate the company's commitment to social responsibility. 

The activity took place in the mountains of Collserola, to be surrounded by a natural environment and away from the office atmosphere.
This sustainable teambuilding not only brought us together as a team, but also gave us the opportunity to make a tangible difference to our community and the environment. The activity lasted 2 hours and included a total of 13 events that were linked together in a circuit. During the activity, we practised skills that required orientation, analytical abilities, observation and survival, which also gave us a basic knowledge on the flora and fauna of the area.

To add a personal touch, the team wore their Sidas Word sweatshirts designed by the marketing team and, as expected, since this was a sporting activity, everyone wore his favourite Sidas socks.

The activity highlighted SIDAS Spain's commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability, in line with its core values of integrity, collaboration and responsibility.
In addition, the activity served as an inspiring example of how companies can promote teamwork and environmental awareness by developing leadership and decision-making techniques. The activity also served to highlight the different abilities of each worker when exposed to an activity outside their comfort zone, and to develop new skills that they may not have thought they would be able to acquire.

At the end of the day, the Sidas Spain team met up at a beautiful farm in Collserola, where they enjoyed some fine local cuisine, in order to consolidate and strengthen the bonds between team members.
